Glass work goes wrong in predictable ways — weather, access, a screen that turns out to be a different part number. These terms say who carries what when it does, so nobody is arguing about it on a driveway in the rain.
Last updated 1 September 2026 · applies to work booked from that date onwards
A quote is firm once we have your registration. You can move a booking free until the glass is ordered. We tell you the drive-away time and we mean it. If our work fails, we come back and fix it.
These terms apply between Brunswick Vehicle Glass Ltd, company number 11742096, of Unit 4 Whitby Road, Brislington, Bristol BS4 3QF, and whoever asks us to work on a vehicle. Booking a job means accepting them.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We quote against a vehicle registration. A figure given without one is an estimate. Quotes hold for fourteen days and include the glass, fittings, recalibration where the vehicle needs it, removal of the old glass and VAT.
If the job turns out to need something the quote did not cover, we stop and tell you before carrying on.
A booking is confirmed when you have a date, a time window and a price in writing. Time windows are windows rather than fixed appointments.
You can move or cancel free of charge until the glass is ordered. We may move a job for weather or for a part that arrives damaged, and you will get a call rather than a silence.
Mobile work needs clear space beside the vehicle, ground level enough to work on safely, and access to the keys. Where we arrive and cannot work safely we will try to find a way round it, and may charge for the slot if we were not told in advance.
After a replacement the adhesive must reach a minimum strength before the vehicle is safe to drive. We give you that time in writing before we leave. Driving sooner is your decision and your risk.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for as long as you own the vehicle, covering leaks, wind noise, failed mouldings and bonding faults.
It does not cover new stone damage, impact damage, faults in the glass itself, or work carried out by somebody else afterwards.
Where you are claiming we deal with your insurer directly. You pay the excess stated in your policy and we invoice them for the balance. You are responsible for the excess whether or not the insurer settles with us.
Private work is due on completion by card or bank transfer. Fleet and trade accounts are invoiced on agreed terms. Glass remains our property until it has been paid for in full.
We hold public liability insurance and are liable for loss or damage we cause. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost earnings or hire vehicles, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
If something is wrong, ring the unit and we will put it right. If we cannot resolve it between us you can take it further through the usual consumer routes.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
